I understand that this question, when originally set, was to be asked the other way round, but it was changed during vetting as one vetter (at least) thought no one would be able to pronounce the player's name!
The answer sheet actually spelt VAR out in full as "video aided referee". I don't think this is right - and Wikipedia agrees with me.
